Are morning workouts better than night workouts? Does it matter? The short answer is not really. It all comes down to personal preference.

Morning Workouts:

Morning workouts are great for a variety of reasons. You start your day off with an accomplishment. This can play a big role on your psychological state. Another awesome thing about doing morning workouts is that you get them out of the way. This way you have no excuse later during the day to not workout.

The one thing that is a little annoying about morning workouts is that it is usually early morning before work. Some people will have little energy and their strength levels will suffer. One way to combat this is to take a pre-workout or some caffeine. However you do not want to become addicted and reliant to these substances. If you do, it will get to the point that you cannot workout unless you have some caffeine, which is not good!

Evening Workouts:

The best thing about evening workouts is you typically will have more energy than in the morning. Obviously this depends on you as an individual but normally that is the case. Another good thing about evening workouts is it sometimes gives you something to look forward to after work. To some people working out can be a chore and a nuisance. But for others is a great way to relieve some stress and they enjoy it.

Just do what works best for your schedule. If mornings are better for you than do that. If morning workouts just aren’t going to happen for your schedule to them in the evening. You wont really see better results for one over the other.
